Speciality : She's a ship, that's pretty special.
A light destroyer class ship who has a mind of her own. This was encouraged by the Fleet scientists who built her and the others in her class - her 'siblings'. Her rebellion was less popular. Currently on the run with an over-full complement of Geist, a human and a hull full of Fleet property that they'd rather like back.

Nickname(s) : "Boss" , "Cap"
Speciality : Command
Although created specifically for command, it's just not where he's happiest. Unfortunately, due to the perplexing lack of a 1, there's no one else remotely qualified for the job. Aside from 9, 2 is the only Geist able to pass for human, provided no one looks too closely.

Nickname(s) : "Fee"
Speciality : Medic
A medic who's never heard of the Hippocratic Oath but is slowly working her way there anyway. She does no harm, unless harm is visited upon herself or the Alamo, and which point she tends to do as much harm as physically possible. The lucky ones she'll bandage up afterwards, though. Possessed of a sweet appearance and soft bedside manner that masks a biting sarcasm and a wicked streak a mile wide.

Nickname(s) : "Junior"
Speciality : Tactician
A walking encyclopedia of recorded military tactics, able to blend them for success with creativity even the best AI can't replicate. Has a fondness for murder mysteries, hasn't met a logic puzzle she can't solve and calculates probability so fast and accurately it borders on precognition. Less comfortable with people than she is with statistics.

Nickname(s) : "Pappy"
Speciality : Requisitions
The eldest Geist aboard at an almost unheard of eight years. Created for a previous mission and, thanks to Alamo keeping him hidden, not liquidated afterwards. Invaluable experience, but not quite as quick on his feet as he once was. Although very adept at getting his hands on whatever they need no one, least of all himself, is sure why Alamo kept him.

Nickname(s) : "Padre"
Speciality : Alamo
Perpetually 'plugged' into Alamo, 6 acts as a mobule extension of her will. How handy that opposable thumb is. Designed blind and deaf within his own body, he uses the ship's sensors and communication devices when he needs to. It's not clear exactly what he does all day, but he keeps Alamo happy and that's the main thing.

Speciality : Demolitions
Unsurprisingly, the cook. He drew the proverbial short straw and got the job, but has found it not unlike mixing up something interestingly explosive. Dinner may taste good, but the Geist have learned not to hold it near any naked flames.

Speciality : Comms
A linguistic specialist who has the misfortune of being in charge of A - XV. It's not recorded what he did to deserve this. Follows her around in the vain hope of damage control.

Nickname(s) : "Cam"
Speciality : Infiltration
The Stealth Model. Literally. Beautiful, charming, absolutely ruthless. When, for once, blowing things up is not the preferred method to get the job done, this is the Geist to call. The most socially evolved of the crew, Cam is often the 'face' when negotiating with other parties.

Nickname(s) : "Ecks"
Speciality : Engineer
The least adjusted of the Geist on board, she can't quite get to grips with the idea of a 'personality' and refuses even to answer to a nickname. A truely awesome lack of anger management, but 100% devoted to the efficent running of the ship. She may lose her temper with the crew, but never with Alamo.

Speciality : Ordnance
A nicer guy than 11 can't be found. Even tempered, always ready to lend an ear, a hand or a man-portable rocket launcher. Is often completely perplexed by the eccentricities of those around him, but worryingly enough he continues to arm them.

Speciality : None
When the Geist were first conceived, this is what their creators made. Quiet, obedient, androgenous, no detectable personality to speak of, completely lethal. 300 years later, this kind of living automaton is a throwback but one the Alamo decided was needed nonetheless.

Speciality : None
Unlucky 13 has no Geist abilities whatsoever, but most of the flaws - instantly recognisable, unable to pilot a ship, a T-Chip. No one's quite sure what went wrong, but assume he's a failed attempt by Alamo to create the first Geist pilot. A cheerful enough guy, he's something of a mascot and acts as a calming influence amongst the generally volatile Geist. By appearance, a twin of 14.

Nickname(s) : "Krank", "Psycho", "Bob"
Speciality : None
Occasionally Geist just come out ... wrong. These are the Geisteskrank. Usually destroyed before animation, Alamo chose to let this one live. Where 13 was no Geist at all, this is Invictus, unconquerable. As powerful as the rest combined and, possibly, even able to pilot. Unfortunately, he's also completely insane. A psychopath of the highest order. He's let out of stasis only under extreme emergencies.

Speciality : None
The final Geist Alamo animated, her purpose is known only to her creator and her priest and neither is talking. Perhaps because of this, the rest of the crew tend to treat her as the littest sister, teaching her what they can and tolerating her (mis)adventures. Even Tatra-7.
